I am using the Comodo Dragon Browser and IDM patched version. Last time after update version of IDM comes, the extension of Comodo Dragon (Different Flavor of Google Chrome Browser) just got invalid. Moreover, when I try to download the IDM integration from Google web store, they said, the extension is deleted from the Web store. I just got frustrated when I saw “Google has flagged “IDM integration” as malicious, and installation has been prevented.“ Later I got the details about on Google Product Forums.

Firefox Use .xpi file for extension installation whereas Google Chrome use .crx file for installation.

Download the above file and install that.CRX file from Chrome by:
Open Chrome>Menu > Tools > Extensions
Then Drag and Drop the CRX file from where you saved it. Then Tick the Allow in incognito mode.
Why I am calling it the permanent solve?
You don’t need to upgrade the IDM for integration because I have tested that the older version of IDM with latest browser extension are working great. After any IDM update, I will download the latest version and install it, copy the two files from C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager and updated in Dropbox.
I am not providing you Latest IDM Crack or Latest IDM patch!!!
Last words, I am not providing you the IDM patch or IDM crack, rather I am giving you the simple solution for repeated browser and IDM update issues. I am using IDM 6.25 version with the latest extension and seems to work fine.

Now, this doesn’t work as Google has updated their Chrome Terms and any older version of IDM chrome extension is being automatically disabled for the violation of this policy.
It worked great at first. But then Google chrome automatically disabled it by saying the extension violates Chrome Web Store policy. Do you have a fix for that?

You can try repair if available in chrome. I have tried yesterday Chrome Repair Option and it worked.

There’s not working………….. apparently on CHROME 47 the Integration Module goes in corruption every days and i need to reinstall manually every time!
Working only for about hours after i drawn&drop and reinstall but goes in corruption and the integration module on chrome i’s no more work and i need to reinstall every time!
The integration module it’s the latest 6.25.6 and i have also tryed to download the zip here but no help whit this stupid solution………….
Its Becuase IDM just updated couple of days ago, and please check any conflicting plugins are installed on chrome or not by going chrome://plugins link.
